Join Team HOI for the 2019 Walk to Cure Arthritis at Angel Stadium Saturday, May 18th

Hoag Orthopedic Institute is proud to be the signature sponsor for the 2019 Walk to Cure Arthritis event being held on Saturday, May 18th at Angel Stadium.

Dr. Dave Shukla is this year’s medical honoree. This event welcomes residents, corporations and health care providers from Orange County, and the Inland Empire, to join the Arthritis Foundation fundraising movement, and become part of the answer and the cure for arthritis.

One in every four Americans has arthritis, making it the nation’s leading cause of disability. Two-thirds of those affected are under age 65, including 300,000 children. Arthritis is painful, debilitating and diminishes quality of life. But every day we’re making more headway through scientific discoveries that bring us closer to a cure.

The Arthritis Foundation is focused on finding a cure and charting the course for the arthritis community, helping families develop personalized plans for saying yes—day after day.
