Dr. Nimish Kadakia has been a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon since
2005. He completed his Subspecialty Certification in Orthopaedic Sports
Medicine in 2009.
Dr. Kadakia grew up in Chicago and Southern California, graduating from
UCLA with a degree in Kinesiology and Psychology.
He obtained his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science
Center at San Antonio. Dr. Kadakia went on to accomplish his General Surgery
Internship at Northwestern University McGaw Medical Center in Chicago,
Illinois and his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Baylor College of Medicine,
He then continued his training with a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the
Minneapolis Sports Medicine Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Dr. Kadakia is a Member of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
He is affiliated with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American
Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy Association of North
America, American College of Sports Medicine, California Medical Association,
the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons & Fellows and the Alpha
Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Society.
He serves as Team Physician for El Toro High School.
